This extraordinary Chinese oolong impresses with a delicate muscatel note. Finely aromatic infusion, with a full-bodied cup. A real rarity, the finest oolong tea from controlled organic cultivation.

Production: The hand-picked tea leaves are spread out to wither after the harvest (May-June): This process takes 8-9 hours and ensures approx. 30% less moisture. The delicate tea leaves are then placed in a bamboo drum and “spun” for 20-30 minutes at room temperature so that the cell walls break open slightly and oxidation begins. In combination with rolling (8-15 min) and shaping (30-60 min), this leads to a gentle 85% oxidation of this Muscatel Oolong. The final drying (15-20 minutes) preserves the unique character of this tea.
